A two day gravel stage race

This 2026 Gravel Grit’n Grind is a 2 days race weekend and part of the 2026 Panaracer Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series and the Nordic Gravel Series. It´s possible to do a single race or both two stages. Only the event on Saturday, stage 1, is an official event part of the 2026 Panaracer Gravelking UCI Gravel World Series offering you the possibility to qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championship 2026 AND the UEC European Championships 2026 + 2027 in Houffalize (BE) and Lahti (FI).

The weekend kicks off on Friday with multiple shakeout rides starting from the event area and Halmstad locations.

On Saturday stage 1 will start from a new location. The course has about 90% gravel and starts with open countryside roads before hitting the first climb. After this hill, the course is fast and smooth until halfway the race. The second half is more demanding and will certainly select the strongest riders of the day.

On Sunday it’s time for stage 2, an event part of the Nordic Gravel Series. This race and ride is more relaxed and aimes at finishing of a beautiful race weekend. The race does count for the Nordic Gravel Series 2026 classification so there will be a very competitive front group. Feel like enjoying the beautiful landscape and scenery?
